At 16, I began a boilermaker apprenticeship with J&S Odor Truck Body Builders, quickly surpassing expectations by building full truck bodies faster and cleaner than anyone on the team. By 21, I was working at Caterpillar of Australia, contributing across four departments and handpicked to single-handedly construct the largest 30-tonne wheel loader buckets, showcasing my skills in engineering and fabrication.
Fuelled by an entrepreneurial spirit, I later co-founded Multi-Tek Designer Interiors, a commercial joinery firm that specialized in joinery installation and delivered high-end hospital and school fitouts for over a decade. Partnering with a seasoned industry expert with 20+ years of experience, I gained invaluable insights into business operations, craftsmanship, and managing client expectations. That chapter sharpened my eye for detail and deepened my operational expertise.

Later, I joined Barcrusher Boats with a bold promise: “You won’t hire a more qualified tradesman than me.” I backed it up by leading engineering and fabrication on flagship builds like the Milwaukee competition boat and The Producer for TV’s Hook, Line and Sinker. My work quickly earned a reputation for elite quality, precision, and relentless dedication, much like the standards upheld by BM Equip in joinery installation.

I’ve since stepped into leadership roles at two major joinery firms—first as an operations manager, then in a senior management position—gaining deep insights into business systems, project delivery, and team dynamics within the realm of joinery installation. These experiences sharpened my skills, but also taught me that great leadership is rooted in culture, not just capability.
Today, I’m focused on commercial joinery installation while laying the foundation for my next chapter—a bold, multinational franchise founded in Victoria, supported by BM Equip Gold Mining. My journey is driven by discipline, ambition, and a relentless passion for pushing the boundaries of engineering and fabrication.
